Denver Trout Unlimited is hosting their 13th Carp Slam Fly Fishing Tournament to help raise money to restore the health and habitat of Denver South Platte River.

With your donations, DTU plans to:

  • Pay for 3.26 million gallons of space in the Chatfield Environmental pool and do more temperature and dissolved oxygen monitoring

  • Add more habitat, rocks cluster and LUNKER pipes below the water line

  • Tell the story of this river on the rise through youth programs, visitor outings, and social media

Here's your chance to do something good.

First 15 Slamateurs to reach $500 are in the 2019 Carp Slam.

The Carp Slam in Denver, Colorado raises funds for studies and seed money to help restore the aquatic habitat for 26 miles of the South Platte river as it flows through Denver. It is an ironic and iconic contest which is having a profound effect on the restoration of this river gem in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
