Carp Slam September 8, 2018 - All Day

This world famous Pro/Am fly fishing tournament targets the most difficult fresh water fish to catch on a fly rod. Proceeds from this fund raising event go toward making the Denver South Platte a healthy river with good aquatic habit, good structure, and healthy flows, temperatures, and oxygen content.

Slamateur Registration is open!!  REGISTER FAST on MAY 1st after 10:00AM.  Only the first fifteen and two alternates  who click "Join the Team" and register will be accepted for this most outrageous world famous fly fishing contest.  Slamateurs must act quickly to land one of the remaining slots.  Registration fee is $500.  For eleven years, Carp Slam has been Denver TU's annual fly fishing tournament fundraiser, and after a day on the river, competitors and supporters alike come together for An Evening for the South Platte, an elegant event featuring the award ceremony, live music, silent auction, food, drinks and more!  Support raised by this event will increase awareness and support the Chatfield Reallocation Environmental Pool to increase flows in the South Platte River.
