Set your calendar for the Cutthroat TU Chapter will be having the legendary guide/author/Blue Quill co-owner Pat Dorsey at their November Meeting.

Pat has guided his native Colorado for 25+ years. He spends 200 days a year guiding/fishing on the water, continues to write some of the most informative and readable books in the industry, maintains his online stream report and Blog, co-owns the Blue Quill Angler in Evergreen, and is a highly sought after speaker across the country. Pat will be an updated version of his South Platte River presentation, which ties in nicely with the new edition of his great book a Fly Fishing Guide to the South Platte River. The new book will be in the warehouse by early December. It contains significant updates that reflect how the river has changed from fishing pressure, aquatic life, drought, fires and flash floods. This smaller format book has new photos, maps, hatch charts, fly recipes, and is broken into separate chapters for each river location. Detailed maps pinpoint the holes and parking facilities for each location.

Don’t miss this great presentation and pre-order an autographed copy of what should be an amazing update to a true Colorado classic guidebook. Pat will also tie some of his favorite South Platte “guide flies” from 6:30-7PM.
